I have a 1400 16v Sport sitting on Astra Fan Blades.
I am after lowering the car with a spring kit but can't afford shortened shocks aswel.
Can I use -60mm lowering springs with the standard sport shocks ?
The car has only done 30,000 miles so I don't believe they will be in that bad shape.
Will I get any rubbing with lowering the car this amount ? The tyres are 195/50/15's btw
Thanks

Yeah will be fine buddy - I ran 195/45/16's lowered 60 on standard shocks.
If you're on a budget, Jamex springs are cheap enough

I wouldnt go 60mm on standard shocks, they will be bouncy and wreck them. Why not just save for a full setup?

I decided to order 40mm springs. I think 60mm springs might be pushing it with standard shocks.
If it was my car then I would be fittting coilovers, but it isn't it's the wifes runaround so 40mm springs will do lol
