Anyone play a bass guitar at all? Just wondered as I see alot of normal 6 string players but seen nothing of any bassists on here, I play both, pretty good actually, just learnt to play bass notes for 'Marshalls are Dead' by Bloc Party, pretty happy with that.

If you play guitar you pick bass up pretty easily tbh
My cousin went from guitar to full time bass
I play guitar and can play bass a bit

Presumably you play with someone else? Won't playing a bass guitar be boring if you just play on your own?

i use to play bass was alright at it tbh ain't played in about a year though

Yes I learnt to play an orthodox guitar first when I was very young, then played bass in my teens, left it for a bit, and came back to it about a year ago (I'm 26 now).

Yeah, not in a band or anything, just jam with a few guys who enjoy their music.

I can play Both but I'm far better on bass, started put on bass and then got bored and got a guitar but I just play whichever I cba at the time

i play bass i prefer it to my guitar really just crank up the stack, stuff falling of my neighbours shelf FTW

I started out on my sisters 3/4 Hohner baron bass then more recently got myself a Squier P-Bass
Guitar wise though i have a Squier Strat and an Epiphone Gothic SG Extreme

I have a Squier Strat. Got it when I was 16 thinking I'd become a rock god. Barely touched it, 21 now and can't play anything
I would love to be able to play it. How hard is it to teach yourself?

i know
ive got a fair few basses now ive collected lol
ive got a p-bass, a bass collection and a rickenbacker
anda few other cheap ones
