Right ok, im trying to copy a music cd for the car so i dont have the originals in if my got ever got broken into, but i have come to a hurdle. The cd im about to copy mixes straight into another song, is there an option on which i can make it do the same? Not sure what verion im using of WMP its the one that come with new vista packs (so probably the altest version).

You need the option for gapless playback in the recording/writing options. Can't remember if WMP can do it though or where you might find it.

Pretty sure WMP can do that, I never seem to have gaps between songs. Right click on "Rip..." and open the options, it'll be in there somewhere I should think. Would check but don't have the latest version on work PC

It may be that it's default on this version then, I remember it being an option in previous ones but not sure about this one. Also just had a look (have Vista on this PC) and couldn't find the option.
I don't have problem with any of the CD's that I make for the car, so give it a go and see how it plays. It's not exactly like CD-R's cost the world if it doesn't work right

I think it's all to do with how your burn back to CD, rather than copying off the CD.
