Evening!
This is probably a really silly question and I do apologise in advance for my lack of technological wotsits

I have a new mobile phone but my SD card from my old phone will not fit. Are SD cards made to be make/manufacturer specific? I was under the impression they would be universal so now my pictures etc are oll on my old SD card

if your new phone takes a micro sd card,
and you have a card reader on your laptop/pc

transfer your old card onto pc, put micro sd into adaptor then copy all onto micro sd in adaptor, remove micro sd from the adaptor fire it in your phone and jobs a good un,

get a Micro SD card with an SD card converter, plug them into the USB and copy the pictures across
