Im after a twin 45 carb setup for my c16xe so will need the manifold and little other bits aswell but i have a fuel pump already.
I may be interested in 40s but im ideally after 45s anyway let me know what you got.

as u2u matey, 45s are abit too big tbh.

also need some sort of ignition only management or maybe even go for a complete standalone ecu

on a c/x16xe id allways go for 45's, 40's a little small to be honest for this engine. they would be fine but would start restricting the engine in the higher revs if used on a high perfomance engine (headwork/cams ect ect)

40s would be fine thought if looking for mega power id be looking at 45s or tbs tbh.

alot of lads run 40s and you'd be fine for a half decent spec motor anyway.

so whats the most power you think you can get out of using twin 40s until it starts getting restrictive?

170 or so bhp.

if can get 45's for as much as 40s go for them, but i know a stock 20xe on 48s had them replaced for 45s as even choked down they were too big.

well 170 is a bit more than im expecting to go and ive found a set of 40s with a manifold so may go for them..did you say you could match port the inlet to the head aswell?

kk mate well i will be in touch about that as i will want the head done and matched up to the inlet manifold for the carbs.
isit still the same price?

i have a set of twin40s what would i need to run them on a 1.2 8v and would i feel a diffrence??
