hi.... i have a c20let whn driving normally its fine but as soon as it hits boost.... there is a constant flat spot..... i have a fse power boost valve as well which is running just past 3bar on idal and just past 4 bar when you rev the car.... what could cause this ????

need help people... its been on going !!

Are you running phase chips or anything else apart from standard management?

im not sure mate...... only had the car for about 2 months now.... got rolling road tested at 287bhp and was running fine...... just started to happen now

Thats running some kind phase chips mate. TBH, it could be a variety of things. You need to either have the car Rolling Roaded the next time you go out or not drive it till you can have it Rolling Roaded. Well thats what i'd do as obviously, something isnt right. Plus those FSE power boost valves are aload of shit. You really need this set up properly.

yea im going regal next month to get rolling roaded mate....... some one said it could be the air flow meter ? and when you drive normmal its fine but as soon as you open the throttle on full boost.... it just is a constat flat spot..... and and the last minute it just flies off!! its so annyoing

I wouldnt take it Regal if im honest. Try Torque of the Devil, I found them very useful.

Thats your decision. Start a thread in your region section asking for local good Rolling Road tuners would be your best bet.

An afm should bring up a fault code, so the engine management light would come on. But as you bought the car like it, I doubt you'd know if the conversion has even been done to a decent standard. Like i said, people could guess on here all we like.. Go to the people in the know, before it does long term damage to your engine.

yea true mate...... brtw i know my intercooler has a split init...... but i have put some liquid metal onit untill 2morro when i get a new 1... could this be it ?
