Is their anywhere (I dont think i can do it on Goolge), where I can type in a disance (say 20miles) and it will highlight that size radius from a set point?

I think you can do this on live maps i think it is called, the microsoft one.

Measure the scale at the bottom and use a ruler up against the screen? Bit caveman-ish but could work.

Or cut out a bit of clear plastic to the scale of 20miles and put the middle point on the middle point on screen.

No doubt there's software out there to do it but you could try that if stuck.

i use microsoft autoroute for that kinda thing =]
