Its because the face is too sharpe where you have cut it form the other image, and its also a slightly different colour tone.

Try blurring the edges slightly and it'll probably look a bit better.

try adding a slight feather to the selection when your cutting the original head out. Depends on the size of the original image, if its quite small then just a couple of pixels.
