Hi i have just read the fault code stored on the ecu of my new gsi its tellin me code 85 im led 2 believe that its a prob with the immobiliser. Can anyone shed any light on what this could b. Oh yer i no what the immobiliser is ha ha ha just in case anyone thought thats what im askin. The car starts but runs very rough.

could be a problem with the transponder bad connection at the ign, or try giving the ecu a new earth, or bad connection dry joint at the ecu from the transponder.
