Whats the good DIY solution to widen arches on a 93 corsa gsi? I have a set of 7inch wide BBS alloys i want to fit on it but the offset is huge! (bout et35i think) the 15inch in diametre, with195/50 r15 toyo proxes tyres, would it also help the situation if i choose a narrower size like 185/50 r15's? the fronts dont catch but the backs do, an i wuldnt mind lowering the car by 20/30 mm allround, any suggestions? thanks

thanks. the idea i had was to grind the lip off then use a block of wood shaped to the inside of the arch and use a jack to push the arch out, maybe use a blow torch to warm the metal up to help it form(making sure i dont set the car on fire) then when it cools down the metal would be set in a wider position. im not keen on stretching the tyres on< local garage will prob curse at me. lol. thanks for the suggestions.

that kind of wheel needs some tyre stretch tbh, but what you said is the general idea when doing arches dont heat up tho, no need
