yesterday my 1.6 sport developed an exhaust blow and then started misfiring
i have already had a read up on a few of the threads i found using the search.
these helped and so far i've changed my plugs and leads and i have ordered an engine temp sensor because that has stopped working. going to fit that tomorrow. could this really cause it to misfire though?!
it's missing when i put my foot down more than about half throttle, just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what to do next if the sensor doesn't help?

try another coil pack on it?
i had this problem on my last corsa it ended up been the spark plugs?
even though the kid said they were brand new when i bought the car like a week before
engine temp sensor... i wouldnt have thought that would make it misfire??

just done the paper clip test as the engine management light came on and its given the code for the air flow meter sensor (0110)
so i'm going to change that first as well.
if those don't fix it then yeah i think the coil pack is next...are they expensive?
i thought the same tbh mate, engine temp sensor shouldn't affect it, got to replace it anyways because it's fooked

try a coil pack from a scrappy mate? take yours off and go up to any corsa in a scrap yard and match it by the part numbers wrote on it and ask for a warrenty..
am pretty sure they are all the same??? well the random corsa i tryed at a scrap yard happened to be the same one for mine

when you say really bad, what can it be?
i'm hoping it's just the coil now
not to sound cocky, i was driving it. noticed it was missing and then tried to keep it below 2-3000rpm whilst driving it home

yeah thats the one.. the vacume hoses may not actualy have the problem of being detatched but they may have perrished to the extent they are letting air in...
also put your hand down the back of the inlet manifld as they have a tendency to spring a leak at the gasket
