Can anyone help me in making a sub box ive recently bought a JL audio 10inch sub but cannot afford to buy a box i have got 3 1 inch thick sheets of MDF but am unsure what size to make it and how i go about sealing it can anyone help

i just helped my cousin make a box for a 12" lightining audio sub.
think we made it 48cm cubed (48 each side) and sealed it with one of those sealant guns u get from b+q etc.
sounded good too 
u2u any q's cos i cant remember any of the info at the mo

ur sub instructions should tell you the recommended air encloseur...u will have to design a box which meets the spec.the box wil prob be just under a cubic feet sealed.
used 3/4" mdf, use no more nails and screws to hold it together, you can work the no more nails sealent into the gaps/edges of the joints to get a real good seal!
have a bash urself, should be easy!
