whats 2ltr brakes and whats 1600 brakes? im talking about calipers, is there a code on them or a specific size etc? thanks

2.0 brakes are 256mm and 1.6 brakes are 238mm iirc

so just lay the disks next to each other and hay presto you'll see the difference

no i know the disks are diffrent sizes but what about calipers?

1.6 16v is 256mm x 20mm vented
2.0 16v is 256mm x 24mm vented

ive held the 2 together before and the only difference i noticed was on the actual pad carriers itself as the 2.0 disc wouldnt fit in the 1.6's pad carrier

if you have pads in the calipers take a pad to a motor factors and they have books with scaled drawings
