Parents have went off on holiday leaving me with their springer spaniel to look after.

The daft thing looks depressed however at their absense and wont eat its dinner or even look at a dog biscuit.

Any idea's what I can do to perk him up a bit..................

Been out a walk already. Tried to play with a toy & hes not interested. All he does it stare out the window, sighing to himself.

It will eat when it's ready, you're not meant to leave the food out though. Take it up and put it back down later, if it hasnt touched it within 30 minutes pick it up again.

Try harder to play a game with him. Stop him from looking out the window so much?

As Danny said, he'll eat when he's ready. He's just pining at the minute, my dog does that when my parents are away. Daft little creatures.

He'll be fine in a couple of days, probably give your parents the cold shoulder when they get back. Just leave him to it.
