Can you put underseal directly on bare metal or do you have to put etch primer on first then underseal?

best to paint it under seal is there to protect the paint

as above, i undersealed some of mines and just buffed any blisters of rust and red oxided them then undersealed

Put zinc primer on the metal first, dont go wild with underseal or you'll be getting a nice little advisory about it every time you have your car MOT'd

They will think its to cover up problems ie rusted chassis
