I have got a corsa sport 1998 and i dont fancy the usual redtop engine but cant afford a turbo engine
so am thinkin about putting a V6 engine in me corsa, im not actually gonna do the work but have got some1 who would be able to am just wondering what kit i would need to get and if its alot more dificult than just putting a normal redtop conversion in the corsa B.

Any info you guys could tell me would be very much a big help !

is it much harder than a redtop conversion, are the mounts easy to come by ??

id generally say the benefits arent that much to make it a worthwhile job unless you went for a 3.0 etc as theyre only 14bhp odd more than an xe is.

i thought the vectra V6 engine was 195 bhp mate so that like 45 more than a redtop ...

no its 170. the vectra gsi engine is 192bhp

yer mate thats the engine i wanna put in me corsa mate, do you need to cut any of the engine bay out to fit it in ???

its not that hard to do. Mounts and stuff is all off the shelf like with 2.0 stuff. Wiring is pretty much the same hardest part is cutting the rear manifold to clear the steering rack. Need to cut the bulkhead away to clear the inlet. Which ever engine you get your best off using the c25xe inlet
