Was you towing each month? Never thought it would actually be possible to move out on that amount?

Mortgage was £420 a month, (35 years ), £120 for bills and £75 for council tax. Hard work, rarely go out anymore unless it's for a few drinks with my missus (no more £100 binges ) and won't be going abroad on holiday any time soon - but fuck me it's worth it

Had a few pay rises since mind, so it's alot easier than it was when I moved.

not very far if your mortgage is 650 alone

£650 - Mortgage
£200 - Council tax
£60 - gas & elec
Phone/broadband - £30

Wont be far off, just for the main bills.

I always pay insurances and TV license off in full.

We got our first house, a 2 bed new build for 42k. At the time I was on 11k and she was around 8k. At the time we were shitting ourselves about paying £280 a month

We earn a combined 70k now and have since moved on to a new house. IMO its worth struggling for the first few months because you very soon get used to paying the bills and you start to find a bit extra here and there.
