Hey got corsa sport x16xe
Over the past week 1st time I seem to start it up on a daily basis it seems to idle fine then about 5-10 seconds later bogs down and then cuts out. When i start it back up again i have to put abit of throttle to get it idling again and then once it idlling again keep it about 1,500 - 2,000rpm for about 10 seconds and after that its fine and idles and through out the day seems fine .
Im deffo no engine expert but this aint right
any ideas will help
Noticed abit of oil in there dont no if it means anything lol

I can't see what that is, but it looks under your rocker cover, it's normal to have oil under there. A problem with idling and cutting out is to do with the fuel not sparking right or some similar problem.

Ah rite ok pal cheers dont no much about engines so didnt no if that was normal or not....is there anywhere of getting it to spark right ? or would anything needs replacing ?

check to see if that bolt is loose mate and tighten up if necessary then mop the oil out with something asborbant

Looking at that mate, you don`t have the secondary air pump wired up ! this is put on the car to blow air into the cylinders, witch in turn make it run weaker for the first 60 seconds, its to raze the temp of the exhaust gasses so the cat will work straight away.( european emissions). Check ICV is clean and give it a bit of rev`s as it starts.

cheers for the help guys whats ICV daine (not mechanic minded lol )...yea i rev it when ive started it for about 10 secs then its fine
