caught speeding i was doing 65 in a 50 zone of the M6
however i literally got flashed about 1 metre into the 50 zone is this allowed?
also i heard there are Specs cameras around there which measure ur speed from point to point
if i got flashed by a gatso camera and got caught by a specs will i get 2 fines and 6 points or will they let me off cause it was on the same day and on the same strecth of rd?
also whats the fine for motorway offences it says 2000 in my high way code book but somehow i think its wrong lol

i only had my license since august so if i got caught twice on that rd an they fine me twice then its my license gone :-(

don't worry about the specs cameras i used to shoot through the road works at 80ish & never heard anything.

spec cameras is a camera which doesnt use film it has a system where it can read number plates you pass one at a certain time and if you pass the 2nd too fast it does you for speeding the cameras can be miles apart. It has problems reading square number plates and dirty ones too but it is operational 24/7.
i wasnt speeding through the roadworks i literally hit the 50 signs and probably 1 or 2 seconds later saw a flash the place they put the camera is just plain stupid and is in a place to earn revenue rather than safety measures.
i was coming back from liverpool went to see them play the other day (got a free ticket if i drove) the camera got me goin southbound.
