hi all, just asking the question really if anybody has been or lives near newcastle, and what is the night life like? Im thinking of going there for my birthday which is end of the month, so any details on B&B would be helpfull aswell

most weekends, as i live there, night life is really good, just stay away from the gay triangle ( unless your gay )

TBH there are loads of places to go out there.. Just head up to the gate and work your way down to Quayside

Had my brothers stag do there a few years back, really decent place. Only places i remember heading to was buffalo joes (girls dancing on the bar, place was packed silly), Baja (place next door, decent can't really remember much though) and some resturant with a club downstairs (apparently owned by Ant and Dec and was told it was a gay club upon leaving - nice place though )

The Gate is alright for starting off however I'd personally avoid the Bigg Market at the Quayside these days, to be honest it all about the Diamond strip. Also if you're up for more than one night try starting in Jesmond one night, lots of good bars
