Author cold start - takes a while to warm up

as above when its cold its noisy for about 5mins then i hear a click and goes quiet? never used to take this long so don't know what it is. any help would be great.

Its a 1.6 sport

it has had an oil change, thats made no difference

Is it idling just above 1k too then drops?

If so its normal on cold start

it is yeah, but it takes five mins to warm up. maybe a service would put it right

It doesnt matter what service you have , the cold start procedure lasts about 5-10mins anyway. Its the SAI warming up the cat. No need to worry about it
