That's my alloys offset. At the moment they're coated in 195/50/R15 rubbers. The back is lowered -40mm and rubs on speedbumps and bad road bumps...but only on the side of the tyre wall.

Dad used to be a tyre fitter and said I can get away with putting 175/50/R15 tyres on. Will this help? Also, what about 175/45/R15? Thanks.

yea this will help as the tyres will be stretched, givin you more clearance.
