I think...the thicker the oil, the cooler it is. So the answer would be no.

I may be wrong, check first.

oil reply to this, 5w30 is a lot thinner than 15w40 or 15w30 or 10w40 as it covers a lower temperature ie -30c, for what its worth I use semi synth 15w40, some one posted the other day that magnatec is crap and I agree.

5w30 is the same thickness as 0w30, 10w30 and 15w30 once its up to 100 degrees.

just the higher the first number is, the thicker it is at 0 degrees
