Will standard rear shock be to cope with 100mm springs if not were will i get some wot will

Dave A said many moons ago that standard shocks will bottom out with 95mm springs, you should in theory get shortened shocks for the amount of lowering.

Unsure as to where you would get them these days though.

they are fine, got about 10mm travel left, I've got one on temperately as I blew a shortened one (had it for 2.5 years)

I've seen a mk1 astra that had been lowered stupid amounts and it punched through the metal. Much better you than me driving that.

Fine really doesn't rub or bottom out, I really wouldn't recommend staying on standard shocks for long though... But the drivers side(uprated/shortened damper) feels much more controlled than the passenger side.

Feels shit basically but funds are low

when i had 100mm rear springs in the back of the car, i had uprated / shorter shocks on the back.

when i used to jack up the car the springs would fall out..

that was on uprated shocks!

i got a 60mm front and back shocks and springs set up from ebay, used the rear shocks and then sold the front set up and rear springs for the same price i payed for the whole kit..
