Hi All

Been offered one of these for £180 with all accessories,bag,2 memory cards etc.was previously used by a photographer for tilllate.com so been very well looked after.howeve,I'm not really clued up on camera's so could someone tell me if these are good spec details?

Ive held one and looked through it, took some pictures etc and its a very good camera and the quality is really good but personally if your gona go for one like that make sure you get one with a battery rather than aa's

samsung do a really good one as do casio(i think) that come with their own battery for about £200

Ah got ya, Would that mean i can charge it from a mains or something? Now very clued up on camera's at the minute.I only have this camera to take pics and do photoshops with so need to move on drastically.

Yea camera's with their own battery means you can take it out and plug it in too charge and wont be spending a fortune on aa batteries

If your gona be spending that much on a camera you would be aswell going for a dslr from ebay which you could probably get for £200 with at least one lens

No problem mate, a thing I liked over the digital camera's like the one you posted is they have the option to view what your looking at on screen, whereas some dslr's are viewfinder first then once you have taken the picture you can view it on screen

Yeah thats true.mines only 8mp with no optical zoom though.still get pretty decent pictures although I'm eager for a dslr...I want to be able to do them pics where the background is blury(havent got a clue what they are called) all i know is its somethign to do with shutter speed.

defo try for a dslr from ebay, just keep your eye out for someone selling a package with accesories with a low start and try and get a last minute steal

best thing to do though is to price the item new before bidding on ebay as the likes of the sony a200 is £260 brand new with the 18-70mm lens and some people on ebay have them in for more than that
