Thinking of getting an alarm on my corsa B looking at the Toad Ai606, catagory 1 alarm. Anybody vouch for this alarm? Want catagory one really. Avoids telling me the price on the site but on ebay they about 100 pound. How much are they fitting cost roughly? Need to go get a few quotes really just wondered if anyone had any info... Cheers

I bought one off ebay for £100. Fitted it to my Cavalier, Had it on 2 years with no problems and it's now on my Corsa.
I just need to get it certified for the Insurance which will cost £25.
Really easy alarm to fit

How do they need fitted for regs etc?
Who can check them out and stuff too?
I thought they needed to be wired in all up direct to the fuse box etc to be properly Cat 1 installed, or am i wrong?

All connections have to be soldered and heat shrinked/taped up. Alarm box and connections have to be behind a piece of trim so that you have to remove something to actually get to the installation.
A certified alarm shop will check it out for you for around £25. Takes 30-60 mins apparently.
