I'm all for reality, but another film about some stupid cockney wanker who thought it was fun to fight with other tossers on a weekend to make himself look hard, this shit just bores me to tears and is hardly original.

Not really a fan of films that glamourise football violence tbh. Will give it a watch at some point though before passing too much judgement.

Aye, I think people miss the point.

And I wouldn't say it glamourises football violence. Not in the slightest actually. I think it shows the pain and hurt it can cause.

Green Street on the other hand does glamorise it more so, because of the coming of age of the main character.

Fair point, maybe I just don't get the appeal of the whole hooligan genre. Saying that I did enjoy The Firm when I was younger

the firm was ok,havent seen the remake of it yet

only downside fo cass was it came out to late imo needed to be 5 or 10 years earlier

Good film tbh. I think alot of people will over look this film because of its subject matter but it is a cracker.
