Saying that Imogen Heap is legend in my eyes, mainly for the fact that she does all the production (plays a lot of the instruments)/recording/mixing herself in her own studio and technically (in the audible sense  ) it's some of the best work around.....

It's actually a Digitech harmoniser (rather than a vocoder or auto-tune) that she uses - takes a mic/audio input (ie: vocals) and a midi input (so keyboard) and then pitches the vocals to each note that is played in.
