Is this where I need to insert the 10 - 12mm spacer when doing the C20XE conversion? Between that bracket and the chassis?

no, its goes between the mount plate as the actual gearbox

if you look at this pic, where you see the mass of washers on the left hand side thats where the spacer goes

ok mate thanks a lot, did you use the washers to find how thick the shim needed to be?

no, i used the spacer kit from chris astley, i used 10mm bolts on my first ever conversion right enough
