I have a new alternator for our Ford Capri but unsure what I need to transfer over to the new one from the old one? The pulley with fan of course, but anything on the back?

Heres a picture of the old one:



I assume the thing with the wire on it?

What are they

put a pic up of the new one then lol

what ever isnt on the new one needs to go on it.

oh and the fan pulley is a git sometimes expect it to be a bit tight to get off

is that thingy with the wire not the rectifier, converts the ac to dc? i doubt you will need to remove anything tbh

The new one hasn't got anything on the back and has a slot for the ac/dc thingy so i'm assuming that has to go ovder, whats the other thing?
