I see there is a Bolt On for £7.50 a month which gives 500 extra texts to O2 contacts. Does this need to be added right away or can you take out a normal tariff, then get a Bolt On if you need it a few months down the line?

If you are paying for a bolt on it works out dearer than buying an iphone on P&G and using a simplicity tariff.

Vodafone UK is too long a word to fit in the corner of the screen where it tells you the name of the operator

It says VF-xx on ours
Ours will be marginally better Nath but they will have an impact on O2 and Orange's for sure

When I had my Mk1 on Voda it used to scroll back and forth, annoying
But back to the point, will Voda be making you get a 24 month contract? The fact that it's 24 months doesn't bother me, it's just that in a year to 18 months time I'd be wanting a new handset...

there will be an option and all the networks are tryign to push toward 24 month cotnracts (a mistake IMO, who wants the same phone for TWO YEARS FFS) but the 18 month shoudl still e competitive. Most likely same tariff costs to start but more minutes and texts (+ unlimited (and I do mean unlimited) data) but that should spark the reductions across all networks. In fairness thats Apples fault totally rather than the newtorks

When exactly are Voda releasing theirs? More specifically, details of the tariffs. Orange being cocks has angered me and made me impatient.

Sorry to go off track, but has Orange branded (software and case) their iPhones? And will Voda do something similar?
Bubble - What's the receiving packet data all about?

something about a varying speed in which the iphone receives information, the ones on voda will need software to allow the phone to receive data in a faster way.
