Everyone seems to be moaning about Christmas.

Am I the only one who likes it?

Shit, hate it. Disrupts normal life. Takes ages to get going again in the new year as a result.

Ban it, this is one thing the Muslims can ban and I won't moan.

I've come to the realisation that:

- Having Sky means you no longer get excited about the Christmas movies

- Having a job means you can buy things when ever you want.

All Christmas is good for is the time off work you get, which won't be much for me this year and more nights out. As I'm out once a week anyway NYE isn't that important to me and is always a let down.

Having said all that, I don't dislike Christmas just don't see it in the same way anymore.

there are certain bits of it i don't enjoy such as seeing distant family members that i don't have any dealing with apart from at christmas time. i still love giving presents and eating my christmas dinner etc. plus it's a top reason to drink yourself into the gutter.

Next year....2010 im working xmas, wont be home until new year. Looking forward to my can of caliber no alcohol beer then an early bed

I think that's the point. I'll be 24 come Christmas, I don't get excited by some sparkly shit covering a dead tree and I'm old enough to buy whatever I want whenever I want it. It's for kids who enjoy stuff like that, not for adults.

I love it, you spend lots of time with family and you get pissed.

The folk that moan are a bigger pain in the arse than Christmas itself. The only thing I don't like about the songs and decorations starting early is folk are fed up with it all by the time it actually comes.

No this year I will be waking up in my own place, take the dog down the beach, cook dinner, drink. To me thats what makes it great...however seemingly a lot like any other day off.

Actually I am a proper humbug this year, cant be arsed with it all.

Family you say?

Brilliant. One side of our family (my mums) are twats who live in a bubble and my cousins are the biggest pair of air heads I know.

My dads side are Jehovas Witnesses
