Is it just a case of drain oil - sump off - change gasket - sump back on - refill?
on X16XE

Yep, exhaust manifold will need to come off.
Make sure you clean the mating surfaces up really well before hand so you get a good seal.

you'll most prolly bend the shit out of the old sump as they are stuck on well from factory, so its :
Down pipe off (make sure you soak the bolts in wd40 and undo gently)
Drain oil
Undo sump bolts
Remove sump
Clean everything really well
New gasket
Small smear/ bead of scylicone
Bolt back up
Torqe bolts correctly
Re fill with oil & leavd running or a good half hour to make sure it isn't leaking.

When tighting the bolts, do opposites, and half tighten them all, then full tighten!
I used a rubber gasket, as i found they leak less.
Sand down lightly the two edges, and clean very very well, make sure they are dry when going back together. Bit of scylicone like Richard said.
What gasket do you have? Cause you get card type ones, with magnets in them. Don't poke the magnets out like i did, it then leaks like crazy!
