Sounds random but...

What is the easiest software to use to mix a few tracks together?

I've never done anything like that before, so the easiest programme would be best

I've got Soundbooth but no idea how to work it?

Want to mix two tracks together to proove to someone it WILL be a choon.

probably something like Tracktor if you want the live DJ element of things, otherwise something like Ableton Live or Sony Acid (former having the best beat detecting) will do the trick. Both aren't hard to use, but can be a little confusing if you've never used a multitracker before, but there are plenty of video tutorials about (youtube etc).

Wouldn't use fruityloops as it doesn't have built in beat detection, so it would be like trying to mix tracks together using protools/cubase/nuendo having to time stretch tracks - would be an arseache put it that way.

Traktor is just virtual decks, you do have to mix 'live' but it obviously has beat detection and you can press record and save it to a wave.

If you want a more professional way of mixing, then Ableton (or Acid) would be the route to go down.

Cheers, just playing about on it now

My first face... Had a look online at some tutorials and it's actually quite a decent programme, and not too hard to use
