I can't see a 75ps 1.6tdi, he must be talking about the 1.4tdi, and even then, the figures don't look that bad for a small engine.

The engine in this one is 1.6tdi 100bhp and something silly like 250ft/p of torque

100 and 180lb/ft iirc. Easily tuneable however

It's VW Polo 1.6tdi se. 144 lb ft.
"The two 1.6-litre TDI units are available with either 74bhp or 89bhp."
When I think my 1.4 was 89bhp and 92 lb-ft  Maybe a good noticeable difference then.

i had one of these as a courtesy car when they first came out. crackin wee cars, handle well, smooth, feel really big inside aswell
