It's a normal fan inside it and it's nowhere near as powerful as an equivalently sized normal fan.

Good marketing guys, possibly the same as apples.

By normal I meant it has got blades somewhere, not sure on the exact type.

The gist of it is the ease that you can clean his. At least that's what the blurb said when it was released.

In this private hospital I go to they have several Dyson hand dryers and they're well strange to get used to at first, but they do work very, very well and it made me want to wash my hands just to try 'em.

Are you sure the bladeless fan doesnt contain blades in the bottom?

I think they are just hidden myself... great work.

He has never said he is some visionary inventor solving problems, he has just improved upon what is already there.

Would you rather people didnt try to do such things? As if so right now we'd all be sitting round a fire in an old animal skin with a club in our hand.

In fact we wouldnt even have fire, clothing or weapons.

I'm all for innovation and invention but the hoovers aren't any good, the hand dryers i've used aren't that much better than a normal one and the fan is a bit of a con.

Nearly forgot about the ball, what did we do without it, oh wait.

Ive got one of those ball dysons, and when you are used to it, it is 10000x better than a normal hoover. So much easier to hoover round things.

And I know the hoovers arent exactly amazing when compared to some on the market, but compared to your bog standard, for ease of use, they are light years ahead.

His success is enough of an indication that he's doing something right. Maybe just marketing, but he's a good lateral thinker too.
