Depends the route you go down, its slightly different if you go in as an officer or aircrew. I had my interview for systems technican (officer) which i passed, then they told me to wait for a letter confirming i had been offered a position, after that would be a stint at RAF Halton (i belive) for basic training, then on to the specilised area. Unfortunatly when i got the letter it said that i had been put on a waiting list and to wait 3 months for another letter. By that time i had got myself an apprentiship so had to turn down the RAF

Nice one mate, Avions Technician was the 2nd branch I had chose to apply for but it is a totally different branch to aircrew.

People can wait up tp 2 weeks for the decision whether they have got through the filter interview.

Either way im chuffed to bits I passed.

What have you been revising ryzer and what branch are you applying for?

Airman/Airwoman Pay

the pay is wicked, i'm really looking forward to it
best things about the forces imo are; really good job security, a decent wage, meeting lots of new people and travelling around. that applies to any trade in any force tbh

the tests are a bit of a ballache because they take so long, but i think it's going to be worth it in the long run...good luck to those applying!

Yeah when I'm a qualified WSOp the pay is awesome. Good luck Ryzer we might get the same OASC dates!
