just been looking on a load of insurance websites and last months quotes that were 700 ish are now £1500
quinn direct was the cheapest but now i try and get a quote off their site and they wont even offer cover?

has anyone else had this?

I've had it change but not by that much. If they're coming out expensive my advice would be to keep looking.

ive looked on all the comparison sites, then i tried on quinn direct.
it was quick fit that gave me the cheapest. it was about £1600 a year on a 1.4 sport.
im 24 and dont live in a high risk area,
no no claims or out though as i havent passed my test yet

try adrian flux and tell them the cheapest you've had so far is about what you want to pay

I was getting £1000+ quotes from everywhere

Rang them and said I'd had one for £700 off admiral - came back and offered me £650

lie to them about convictions but some insurers ask for a copy of your licence after you have taken out insurance (done that with me).

if you lie and say you dont you will have to pay the extra.

22with no ncb crash
with alloys, exhaust system and lowered suspension fully declared with windscreen cover
brakedown cover
legalassistance all for £1200

im 17 ith a 1.4 16v corsa sport, (obv no ncb) and im paying 1300 a year with Quinn Direct

my mate tried to get the same deal and the premium had gone up to 2000, so i checked how much they would offer me now (on quinns website) and it had gone up to 2000 aswell. did it agin the next month and it had gone down to 1300 again.

very strange

i think ill give flux direct a call, i have no convictions or anything and the quotes i got lastnite was the same as the quotes i got a couple of months ago that were about 300 kwid cheaper

I paid £1069 ypft on a 1.2 at 19 when i passed. Then it will drop quickly.
