every 3-4 my clock will re-set to default settings 000 01.01.92 this is really ******** me off! i bought the car about a month ago just been doing it up this is one of the problems is there wires which go into the back of it that i should have a fiddle with

if its not a loose conection on the battery it could be the wires at the back of the unit the vents will drop down and there is 2 screws behind them

Just what I thought. Chaffed wires or loose connection on that black multiplug.
