does anyone know if they have a volume control on this alarm? the car has been broke into twice now in the 2 years iv had it and both times i didnt hear the alarm go off, last night i was watching tv when it was broke into and didnt know a thing about it

you must be deaf or its fucked because they have a pretty loud siren

well when i came to unlock the car it beeped 4 times telling me the alarm had gone off

Should beep 3or4 times when you open it if its been set off. Never had any problems with mine.
Scared some thiefs of when they put the window through on my old corsa.

Sit in it and set if of yourself. That way you no how loud it is and if it actually goes off.

mines really loud! Have you tried setting it off on purpose just to make sure the siren is actually working?

the alarm on the toad ai606 is very loud so i think there must be something wrong with yours.
mine used to go off a lot in my fiesta due to the sensitivity being at the maximum level, people the next road down used to hear it and complain

I have an 'avital' alarm with remote central locking, thinking of getting a toadi606 but the avital did the job when i got broke into...they wanted to steal a £5 note i accidentally left on show when pissed (i wasnt driving, just getting money out my car)...anyway, they stole the money, the glovebox was left open after the theft...woke up in the morning and realised wtf had happened, then I lol-ed when i found my dad's sat nav in the glovebox (with it still open)

Had two ai606 alarms and both were VERY loud. Heard my golf being broke into over the road while i was watching a film with surround sound on. managed to disturb the toe rag before he could take anything.
