i have been looking for a car that i can make money on for a while and found this 106 gti.its got the half leather and everything.hes askin 550 but if i can get him to 400 you think its a goer?66k on engine(apparently you never know really)92 on clock

Are you handy with a spanner coz you're gonig to have to either fit a new engine or rebuild that one.
£400 + Parts to repair + Oil etc after it's put back together.......
Tax and test? probably short or none at all.
I wouldn't be giving 2 for that, nevermind 4

no tax 10months mot.if i sell the half leather interior,theyre worth 250-300 and ill just use that to get it fixed.thats what i was thinking neway

IMO, for the money you're going to make on it, it's not worth the effort.
£400 is too much for an R reg 106 GTi with a broken engine.

Engine?? £300 maybe more?
There maybe more problems to sort.
That's £800+ before it's ready to drive.
