best peopl for stands i have found are Alphason they have all sorts of ranges to suit - This is the one i got (well a slighty wider version, i think mine is 1300mm wide and thats only 1000mm) -

I've got the X-Men Trilogy

Only thing that annoys me is you can't play the extended scenes like a proper directors cut
