I love it when people ask for advice and opinions then just ignore it anyway.

I certainly aint ignoring it.I am taking it into consideration.
So far i have had mixed opinions on the car, both good and bad.Surely got to be worth at least a look and test drive etc.
And as said,if i dont like it i can sell it on.After having a look at what they seem to be selling for etc,and if its in as good condition as he describes with the low mileage,i shouldnt have to much trouble getting back a bit more than what my car is up for.

any engine will need a headgasket change with the major 60k service.after that it shouldn't need changing.
You mean any Rover/MG engine right?
Nope,Only reason mg/rover engines fall loose of the HGF status is due to people ragging shit out of them from cold and the jacket jackets being out of line from the factory as said up a few posts...It's a shame really because i still believe they are a future classic
A lot of the time its due to the thermostat failing hence why people upgrade them to avoid HG failure. Nothing should need a Headgasket before 100k miles tbh

MGTF has conventional suspension and updated boywork/lights.
