i think i may have 2 problems on my hand here.
the car in question is a 1996 vauxhall corsa sport with an x14xe fitted
1 - car cuts out when slowing down to standstill or when clutch is dipped, also engine management light comes on
2 - car judders when accelerating in every gear, and judders when slowing down, 0-60 approx 45 seconds
need help despertaly, any guides on how to replace the worn parts? where to get them from for fair price, non dealer

Check eml fault codes first to see whats coming up as problem, paperclip test.

I had the same symptoms and it was egr valve.

yea as barnykarl said do a papercliptest i reckon it will also be egr valve blank it of or replace it

i had the same a couple of weeks ago, run the car like it for a week then one morning it was back to normal  i suspect egr valve, maybe take it for a blast down the motorway to see if it clears itself
