Hey i was just wondering and comparing wat people are getting mpg wise out of their redtop corsas? basically i'm doing 35miles on just under £10 of fuel. thats like 17mpg on a redtop with induction, power cap and straight through exhaust, without using much of a lead foot and thats a hard thing to do! i was thinking i'd be getting atleast 25-30mpg for a redtop, but oh well, worth it anyday!

agreed with the somthing seriously wrong comment . although mine is in a nova i must easily get 40+ mpg even with some boot...i filled up with 45 litres on the way to billing this year , did a 400 mile round trip and had a few games lol , so that averages 40.4 mpg on the price i payed (£1.03 ish)

Are you filling up with Super unleaded or normal? How much a litre? How much under £10 did you fill up?

Agreed, I would probably be able to push 50 from a tenner but usually take it as 40 so I don't get any nasty surprises. So probably about the same as the thead starter, I've always thought this was a bit less than it should be.
