Might be going to have a look at this but I know bugger all about them. Can anyone tell from the add what model it is etc. Any other info about them would be good aswell. Shame about the door on it but should be an easy enough fix even if I just put a new one on it..

The captive nuts shear inside the subframe on the rear. Back end becomes floaty. It's fucking scary.

It happened to mine.

The front rad is exposed to stones so check it's not ripped to shreds when you go and inspect it. Most people put some meche in the lower grille to protect it.

These need a special coolant as normal water will kill the head gasket. Check that the coolant it red.

the aircon rad gets seriously fucked up by stone chips as said and normally leads to non working aircon

also, if you buy a n/a you'll always feel hard done by that you dont have a turbo

i break mr2s so got many parts. thats pretty good money for a rev3, though it is an import so might want to check insurance as some companys take a bad view of this. as said they take a special coolant which can be purchased from toyota, forlife its called. imports come with afew extras, aircon, retracting mirrors. check aireal works very weak point . any advice need u2u me.

Didn't rate mine much except for poseability factor!!

Nightmare in the wet - could turn to face the other way without much warning, if it snowed you were walking to work.

Wasn't very quick for the 170odd bhp it had either.

I wouldn't have another.

My bro's was nice, had a good engine in it for its milage (120k).

My mate wanted one for a daily so picked up a Rev2 with 170k on for 830quid a few weeks back, with 6months mot and tax IIRC, and bodywork is in good condition for its age (only a little parking dent here and there)

I liked the noise mine made. 173bhp NA.

It wasn't exactly slow but i always felt it should have been quicker.

Good fun though.
