guys, are remaps healthy on naturally aspirated engines?

read somewhere that they damage the engine. any thoughts on this matter? (especially people who do it as their job)

Any remap can damage any engine if its a bad map and the person who made it doesn't have a clue.

N/A remaps will usually see only a few HP increase, but they tend to smooth the power curve out and get rid of any flat spots
