Can someone value this for me? Need TIG for the alu steps on the wagon so I was just going to buy an old welder then well it again rather than buy a new one and lose money, not sure how to price this though.

Was thinking about a cheeky 200 quid. It'll cost me 50 to appoint a courier. No way I'm driving to Ipswich in this weather

i would try a cheeky low offer but if they turn it down i'd pay the 250 for sure. you never know, with a bit of luck the seller won't know how much its worth.

Can you tig weld, its not so easy & to get it looking good. Would it not make more sense to get someone with the gear to do the job rather than buy the gear in, hope it works then sell it on....or am I missing the point!

Ste and his dad can do it, just don't have a working TIG rig.

You're not missing the point, that is exactly my plan.
