I want to put 17s on my corsa (B). Just wondered what sort of work was involved if any, with the arches etc? I also want to lower the car 60mm. So would i be better off getting offset et49 wheels?

Any help appreciated...

i dropped my car about 30mm front and back and slapped on some 17" it touches most places, especially teh front over bumps and in teh back when i pack some ppl in, i made my springs really hard to try and combat the touching, but it still touches
you could cut the inside of the arches behind the plastic arch, that might help

depends what car its going on, corsa's vary as do suspension packages. My corsa is lowered 60mm and ive got ET45 7.0x17" alloys on and they dont catch or rub, and ive got full lock.....some cars they fit easy, some require a small bit of work, but 17s if the correct offset and width will not require major work like cutting the arches or anything.

So what springs did you put on yours for it not to rub?
