hey peeps,
been wanting one of these for years but due to the high insurance ive never owned one,
now the insurance is resonable im really contemplating getting one,
just a couple of questions really,
has anyone on here owned one?
what are they like for parts etc?
and what are the main things to look out for?

dont get the ca18 engine. they're naff
SR20DET
Also make sure you have good rear tyres all the time. dont run 'slicks'

they're not as reliable and you can get more parts for the sr as its used in S14+S15 and later S13 models

Think the UK models had the ca18 and the imports had the sr20det.

Well i thought the 180s had 1.8 and the 200s had the 2.0 but some badger in japan thought it was alrite to stick the engines in the diff badged car
so peeps then said they had a 180 with a 2lump in it >.<

i loved the two i had couldnt falt the 1800 16v turbo s13 motor they could defo handle sideways abuse.
Just look out for rot on rear arches and chassis oh and below rear spoiler defo.
Would have a third one tomorrow.

get an s14, you will be hard pushed to find a s13 that isnt rotten, and the s14 are a 2.0 turbo aposed to the s13's 1.8 turbo

ca18det isnt that bad, you just need to find a well looked after one!! they sound alot nicer than the sr20det all be it not as strong!!
